There are many beautiful vacation rental homes on the west shore close to the lake.

When searching, try to stay within Homewood, Tahoma, or Tahoe City.

The Resort at Squaw Creek is located in Olympic Valley and is a 20 minute drive to the West Shore Cafe where the wedding will take place. The hotel is surrounded by great shopping, restaurants, and activities. Shuttle services will be provided from the hotel.

The Village at Palisades Tahoe is located next door to the Resort at Squaw Creek and also offers great accommodations and shuttle transportation.

Basecamp Tahoe City, is a boutique hotel built for exploring the incredible lakes, trails, and mountains in the Lake Tahoe Basin. The hotel is located in the heart of Tahoe City, a short 5 minute walk to the lake and next door to the Welcome Party at Moe’s BBQ. The hotel has amenities and style of a modern resort, but at more reasonable prices.

The Granlibakken Tahoe is a historic, family-owned and operated resort just one mile from downtown Tahoe City and the shores of Lake Tahoe. Situated in a private 74-acre valley, its perfect for families and adventure seekers looking for more affordable prices.

Guests can either fly into the Reno-Tahoe International Airport or the Sacramento International Airport. Reno airport is about a ~50 minute drive to the West Shore of Lake Tahoe. Sacramento airport is 2 hour drive to the Lake.

The best way to get into Lake Tahoe is to rent a car from your arrival airport. There are also shuttles that will take you to your Lake Tahoe accommodations or into the major town of Tahoe City.

West Shore Cafe has a full parking lot for those who wish to drive directly to our wedding site.

We will be partnering with the Palisades Hotel and All Star Taxi for our transportation requirements the night of the wedding. Shuttles will be arriving at the Palisades hotel for any hotel guests and guests can coordinate directly with All Star Taxi for transportation from nearby AirBnBs.
